His Excellency Pascal Maubert attended the ANZAC Day ceremonies at the Bomana War Cemetary, Port Moresby.
The ANZAC Day commemorates the remembrance of the Gallipoli Campaign during the First World War. Soldiers from Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and France took part to this battle. More than 250 000 of them died during the fights.

Mr. Maubert, representing the French Embassy, left a spray of flowers on the Bomana war memorial and gave a testimony of the sacrifice of many soldiers during the Gallipoli Campaign.
