The local community welcomes Ambassador Maubert

At the invitation of Mr. Chrstian Vinson, board chairman of the Kerema Hospital, Ambassador Maubert visited the main city of the Gulf province. He was welcomed by the vice-governor, the members of the board and the hospital staff. He later visited the hospital facilities. The hospital is currently upgraded thanks to the Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) team, componed of around ten persons. This project is directly linked to the National Tuberculosis Program. This upgraded operation was the idea of Mr. Vinson, to the request of Hon. Peter O’Neill, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea.
